These brownies are one of my favourites! I have quite a sweet tooth so these brownies are perfect and do the job for little indulgence every now and then. You probably already have the ingredients in your cupboard!!
24 pieces
10 minutes preparation time
Ingredients:
100g dark chocolate chopped into small pieces
80g maple syrup
2 tbsp coconut oil
120g almond milk or any plant based milk
1/2 tsp natural vanilla extract
1 egg
40g cacao powder
50g of coconut sugar
50 g buckwheat flour
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp baking powder
Recipe:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a cup cake tin with cases. Or you can line a cake tin and make this recipe into a cake which is what I normally do.
- Melt dark chocolate on the stove or microwave. Then add maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract and mix them together.
- Once the liquid ingredients are all mixed add cacao powder, sugar, buckwheat flour, bicarbonate of soda and baking powder.
- Finally pour mixture into your cupcake tin or cake tin and bake for 12-15 minutes.
Once they are cooked and cooled down I like to sprinkle a bit of icing sugar on them.
