What is the Chai blend and what the benefits?

Our Chai blend consists of 3 potent superfoods: Black Ginger, Lions Mane Mushroom, and Cocoa. These 3 superfoods have been used to support gut health, inflammation, and circulation.

Black ginger, the rhizome of Kaempferia parviflora (Zingiberaceae), has traditionally been used as food and a folk medicine for more than 1000 years in Thailand. Black ginger has been used to assist in allergies, asthma, impotence, gout, diarrhea, dysentery, peptic ulcer and diabetes.

Lion’s mane has been extensively used in Asia and is said to nourish the 5 internal organs (liver, lung, spleen, heart, and kidney), and promotes good digestion, general vigor, and strength.

Cocoa was originally used in the Mayan culture and considered the “food of the gods”. Cocoa can potentially regulate of blood pressure, insulin levels, vascular functions, oxidation processes, prebiotic effects, glucose homeostasis, and lipid metabolism.

Cocoa is also rich in minerals: potassium, phosphorus, copper, iron, zinc, and magnesium.
