The Phytoandrogens are the reason that pine pollen is so sought after as a workout supplement.

Organ Support, Anti-Aging, and Anti-Viral Pine pollen have loads of sterols, naturally occurring plant steroids. Phytoandrogens are very rare nutrients to find, especially from a plant-based source. Brassinolide improves liver function, Castasterone is a potent antiviral, and Gibberellins help regulate prostate size.

Pine Pollen along with Black ginger, maybe one of the most potent combinations for slowing down the aging process by improving immune function and lowering the systemic inflammation that often leads to cellular oxidation. These extracts have been used in China for thousands of years as an anti-inflammatory treatment, as a way to clean up free radicals, and to slow the aging process.

Directions:
Place 1 dropperfull of H20 under tongue, followed by 1/2 dropperfull of Resurrection, 1-3 times per day depending on age and activity.

Caution:
Generally, pine pollen as a supplement is not recommended for children and should be avoided by male adolescents, who on average naturally produce healthy amounts of testosterone.
While pine pollen is not normally the cause of allergies for most people, it may induce an allergic response in certain individuals and are best avoided internally under such circumstances.
Just like anything that you’re putting into your body, it is important to make sure that you are aware of the potential side effects of consuming pine pollen.

What is Pine Pollen?
Pine Pollen is a powdery substance made up of grains discharged from the male part of the pine cone of tree species such as from Pinus massoniana. Pine Pollen naturally contains bioavailable forms of androgenic hormones like testosterone, DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone), and Epitestosterone. Pine pollen is rich in DHEA, which plays a crucial role in hormone production in the body. DHEA imbalances can lead to such conditions as depression, weight gain, hormonal imbalances, and cognitive issues. Additionally, Pine Pollen also contains a wide variety of other Phytosteroid compounds. It is a good source of minerals such as potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, manganese, copper, zinc and selenium. What makes pine pollen so unique is that instead of simply providing you a boost of testosterone, it actually promotes your body's ability to build its own.*

The Power of Pine Pollen
Anti inflammatory Pine pollen acts as a powerful natural anti inflammatory. Inflammation is one of the primary factors contributing to erectile dysfunction in men.* The pollen is considerably more potent as an extract when taken for these purposes and can be specifically useful for middle aged adults, between 40-50, and the hormonal fluctuations that occur with the aging process. Some properties of pine pollen that may slow the aging process include:
Increasing levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD), one of the bodies master antioxidants; Increasing glutathione levels, which helps to detoxify environmental pollutants and oxidative stress from the body; and, reducing lipofuscin deposits which effect the heart, brain, and liver.*
Mood and Cognitive Function Pine pollen contains phenylalanine. Phenylalanine is a nutrient that’s important for maintaining mood. It is a component of many of the neurotransmitters that are used to help maintain a positive outlook and support mental health.* Phenylalanine is one of the precursor compounds for dopamine, which is the main neurotransmitter associated with mood, motivation, and wellbeing. When we feel accomplished or satisfied, our brain is releasing a surge of dopamine. This in turn renders pine pollen as a natural treatment for depression.* Having a good source of phenylalanine in your body supports your brain’s ability to produce dopamine. This is particularly useful if you suffer from a dopamine imbalance due to stress and unhappiness.*
Improved Blood Flow Pine pollen’s optimal source of amino acids and antioxidants help regulate levels of stress hormones in the body and encourage the proper flow of blood. This also aids in helping the reduction of high blood pressure.*
Healthy blood flow supports brain and organs oxygenation. Foods like pine pollen, that improve the oxygenation of the brain, are known to help improve cognitive function as well as organ optimization.*

About Kaempferia Parviflora (KP)
Kaempferia Parviflora (KP) is a member of the family Zingiberaceae (Ginger) and found in the northern part of Thailand. In Thai traditional medicine, the rhizome of the plant has been used for treating hypertension, erectile dysfunction, inflammation, as well as for the promotion of longevity with good health and well-being. In Laos folk medicine, the rhizome has been used for treating high blood glucose level, increasing blood flow and improving vitality. In Japan, KP extract is marketed as a nutrition supplement for the treatment of metabolic syndrome (obesity).

Recently, there have been several studies on KP. One study demonstrated that KP supplementation increased blood flow to many body organs due to vasorelaxation induction. This was mediated through nitric oxide dependent pathways, which also maintained anti-inflammation effects. This combination of increased blood flow and anti-inflammatory effects facilitates muscle strength. Blood flow circulation is closely associated with blood fluidity. It has been demonstrated that a 70% ethanol extract of KP significantly improves blood fluidity through activation of fibrinolysis. Potentially KP is used for promoting health through regulating the balance of energy metabolism and improving cardiovascular functions.

Consistently, KP extract has been found to improve physical fitness, as indicated by enhancement of grip and leg strength, balance, endurance, and locomotor activities. A single oral dose of KP extract increased the whole-body potential expenditure in humans, and was also found to improve physical fitness and health by decreasing oxidative stress. KP effectively enhanced running endurance and increased the skeletal muscle weight / body weight ratio. Furthermore, these observations were associated with a significant up regulation of mitochondrial regulatory genes in skeletal muscle tissue. These results suggest that KP has the potential to enhance exercise performance through mitochondrial biogenesis.

Another study showed that KP extract increased whole-body energy expenditure through the activation of brown adipose tissue (fat), which could benefit as an anti-obesity regimen. Modern research technologies have demonstrated that KP can suppress body weight gain, inhibit lipid accumulation, and prevent pathological changes resulted by insulin resistance, fatty liver, and hypertension.

For erectile response outcome, one study showed that subjects receiving KP extract exhibited a significant enhancement in size and length of the penis both in flaccid and erectile states. Several studies indicate that KP increases sexual motivation and enhance men’s sexual performance through increasing dopaminergic function in the hypothalamus. When treated with KP extract, there were improved testosterone levels, sperm count and sexual performance. Another mechanism includes the inhibition of PDE-5 activity. Since nucleotide PDE’s inhibitors underlie several current treatments for erectile dysfunction, it was found that this plant contains substantial amounts of PDE5 and PDE6 inhibitors. KP extract showed some PDE5 selectivity similar to Sildenafil (Viagra). Also, an ethanolic extract of Kaempferia Parviflora rhizomes improves endothelial cell function via nitric oxide production on which penile erection depends. Even though KP extract was substantially less potent than Sildenafil, none of the side effects associated with Sildenafil were observed.

Results suggest that anti-arthritic potential of KP extract resulting from anti-inflammation and anti-migration via suppression of the cytokines-induced P38/STAT1 and STAT3 pathways. KP extract also decreased knee osteoarthritis.

Considering safety issues, adverse events were not reported among all included studies. In summary, the positive benefits of KP were reported, and adverse events were not found.
