The nervous system:

Highly regarded in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases (2),It regenertes myelin (1) and nervous tissue ( due to its content in erinacines). It improves memory by reducing cognitive decline (3) and has great potential in treatment of diseases such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease. There are also advanced studies in cases of multiple sclerosis and parkinsons disease.

The gastrointestinal system:

Acts in the regeneration of gastric and intestinal mucosa. Very useful against gastritis (4), ulcers and gastricreflux disease. It also possesses an inhibitive effect against Helicobacter pylori (5). Helpful in cases of intestinal inflammatory diseases ( Crohn and ulcerative colitis ). Due to its capacity to regenerate the intestinal epithelium, it is especially recommended in cases of leaky gut syndrome, food intolerances and allergies.

Should mushrooms be avoided in Autoimmune conditions? Are they immune stimulators?
Mushrooms are biological response modifiers (BRMs), or adaptogens, i.e. they modulate the immune system. So they modulate autoimmune conditions and inflammation levels in the body, whilst helping the body fight off pathogens. The most powerful immune modulator, recommended for autoimmune conditions, is Agaricus Blazei Murrill, or Sun mushroom (as in our MicoSol product), followed by reishi, then cordyceps sinensis is recommended for complaints like lupus.

Mico-Quality: Maximum quality, purity and potency in our products

360° traceability: uniform and controlled production from the cultivation processes to the marketing of the product following pharmaceutical GMP standards of excellence.

Higher concentration of active biomolecules: implementation of state-of-the-art Sustainable Double Extraction technologies (patent pending) allows for greater product potency.

Triple analytical check: safety controls, purity, concentration of active biomolecules and confirmation of the stability of the final product. This includes microbiological, pesticide, heavy metal and gluten analyses.

In addition, we select our partners based on the strict criteria of excellence, traceability and safety established by Hifas da Terra in the Mico-Quality process.

Maximum Concentration: More benefits in fewer capsules

Hifas da Terra extracts differ from other products due to their standardised high concentration of active ingredients. This potency makes it possible to reduce the recommended daily dose to 1-2 capsules. As an example of this concentration, to produce 1 kg of Hifas da Terra 15:1 Reishi extract we need 6 kg of mushroom powder (active ingredients) from 60 kg of fresh mushroom.

Safe and effective food supplement

Mico Leo Hericium Extract is free from gluten, preservatives, chemicals, sweeteners, flavourings, starch, wheat, corn, soya, sugar and dairy. Suitable for coeliacs, lactose intolerance, vegetarians and vegans.
